To meet the situation, the entrepreneurs associated with Dr. B. C. Roy Group of Colleges, with support from like-minded professionals founded Dr. B. C. Roy College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences (BCRCPAHS)(www.bcrcp.ac.in) in September 2005 at the centre of Durgapur Steel City on around four acres of Govt. land procured from ADDA, Govt. of West Bengal for providing Pharmacy programs.
